Someone really needs to sit Steve down and explain the risks of jumping off buildings. I understand the craving to be part of the superhero world but all it's going to take is one night of somebody not really paying attention or getting distracted by something else and Steve will be a pancake on the pavement.

I'm also finding it a bit distressing how people seem to take us for granted. I just saved Steve's life, AGAIN, and all I get are insults for not being as good as Diva.

And I DO have nice teeth!

Hang on...I hear something outside of the alley...

2:28pm: Private Entry
Not quite sure where to start.

Ninja Person teleported us into the Secret Lab which is SO very Ninja. I like NP, but talk about reckless! At the same time I'm still learning the ropes of being a superhero so maybe I'm supposed to be that cavilier as well. I mean, *I* haven't broken into Lord Darthac's secret lair, only to retrieve a red glowing rock, which last I heard was causing quite a stir down at the lab.

The lab. What can I say. I know what I can say! They have a boy locked up down there! Well, not a boy so much...I would guess he's close to my age. He seems rather ageless though, mostly because he can't even remember how long he has even BEEN in the lab!

What kind of place locks up a kid, even if he IS a really good psychic and probably a phenomenal resource in helping direct supers where to be? I mean...how RIGHT is that?! He's not a lab rat! He HAS a lab rat!

I threw an idea at him on how to get out...we'll see if it works. Maybe at some point I'll see him strolling around the Foundation campus enjoying the blue sky and some sunshine. He IS very pale and it would do him good.

I think. What do I know? Again, I am quite new. Maybe by helping him get out I've done something very, very bad. Wouldn't those guys at the lab know more than me about the whole thing anyway?

6:26pm: If I get out of this I am going to kill Ninjaperson!!!

Well, I've had my first night and I think I am a little disappointed.
I mean, I did have a rescue though she/he? (I have NO idea) didn't seem very impressed.
All she/he (argh!) wanted was a flight around the city (sigh,) and berated me for not being Heroman and in the midst of the tirade told me I wasn't as pretty as Diva. Well, DUH. My name is "Red Sparrow," not, `Lookit my big hair and boobs!'

I did see the new billboards out for her perfume. I hear it's selling pretty well.

I guess it's going to be a long time before I'll ever see any "Red Sparrow" merchandise but even so, I don't think I'd want to sell perfume. My own comic book would be cool though.

I need to practice flying. I really really hate it and catching Steve wiped me out. I think it would have been faster WALKING home after my shift but rules are rules.

6:15pm: Yay!!!
I got my first "mission" today. Nothing TOO exciting. I'm supposed to be watching the Quadrant 27 on the north side of the Ping Soda tower.
There are going to be a lot of other people around the area though...it has only been a couple of days since the Night Knight broke into the tower. They aren't saying what he took but Heroman is furious.

He's so CUTE when he's furious too. Heck, he's cute all the time.

Anyway, I'm excited...after all that training I finally get to go out into the city. I'm trying not to expect TOO much on my first night but part of me thinks it would be SO great to go out and on the first night capture a really bad guy (The Night Knight!) and have my face in the paper the next day and a contract for my own comic book!

I need to get off the computer. Ninja Person (my roommate) wants to use it. NJ is SO weird.
